A septoplasty can be combined with a rhinoplasty if and when required to correct any external nasal deformity. The procedure is performed under local or general anesthesia. The patient is discharged after 48 hours once the nasal packs are removed with a plaster on the nose. The plaster is removed after about 5-6 days.
